Iranian culture spreads the message of peace, friendship and dignity to the world, Iran Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance Reza Salehi-Amiri says.

Salehi-Amiri made the remarks on the sidelines of a performance by the Iran National Orchestra in Tehran's Vahdat Hall on Monday.

He added the Iranian government will further financially support the national and symphonic orchestras during the next Iranian calendar year (starting on March 21, 2017).

The minister also highlighted the importance of the Iran National Orchestra engaging in tours across the country.

He said the move serves as the best opportunity for Iranian music fans to get familiar with different trends in Iranian music.

The Iran National Orchestra, conducted by Fereydoun Shahbazian, will play a pivotal role in preserving Iranian culture, the official concluded.
